1. Who we are

Pricemancer ("we", "us") operates the price monitoring platform available at pricemancer.com. This policy explains what personal data we process, why, and what rights you have. It applies to account holders and visitors of our website.

2. Data we collect

  • Account data — email address, hashed password, subscription plan, login timestamps.
  • Billing data — handled by our payment provider (Stripe); we store only customer and subscription references, never full card numbers.
  • Usage data — actions within the Service (scrape runs, imports, configuration) and technical logs (IP address, browser type) kept for security and capacity planning.
  • Catalog data you provide — product lists you upload or connect via API. This is your business data; we process it only to provide the Service.

3. Why we process it

We process data to provide and secure the Service (contract performance), to bill subscriptions (contract/legal obligation), to improve reliability (legitimate interest) and, with your consent, to send product updates. We do not sell personal data.

4. Retention

Account and catalog data are kept while your account is active and deleted within 30 days of account deletion, unless a longer period is required by law (e.g. invoicing records). Technical logs are retained for up to 12 months.

5. Sharing

We share data only with processors needed to run the Service (hosting, payment processing, email delivery), bound by data processing agreements. Data may be processed within the EU/EEA; transfers outside the EEA rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and object to processing. You can exercise these rights via the contact details on pricemancer.com and lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

7. Cookies

The application uses strictly necessary storage (session token) to keep you signed in. The marketing site does not use third-party advertising cookies.

8. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be announced via the Service or by email. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
