Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Pricemancer platform ("Service"), operated by Pricemancer ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company.

2. The Service

Pricemancer collects publicly available product and price information from websites you configure, and matches it against product data you provide. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind.

3. Accounts and plans

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Usage limits (tracked sites, discovered URLs, scraped and matched products, import sizes, request rates) depend on your subscription plan. We may adjust limits with reasonable notice. Paid subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service to violate applicable law or third-party rights;
  • configure the Service against websites in a way that violates their terms where legally binding on you;
  • attempt to circumvent plan limits, rate limits or security measures;
  • resell or provide the Service to third parties without our written consent;
  • upload malicious code or content you have no right to use.

5. Your data

You retain all rights to the catalog data you upload or connect. You grant us a limited licence to process it solely to provide the Service. We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Collected market data

Price and product information collected from public websites is factual market data. It is provided for your internal business use (pricing analysis, market research). We do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness or timeliness.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, loss of profits, or business interruption.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination your data will be deleted within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via the Service or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
